We are proud to announce that we have been awarded 1st Place in the Institutional Category in the NFBA Building of the Year Contest for this project!
The Texas Corners Bible Church was designed and built using the most effective and cutting edge energy saving solutions available. This focus on efficiency coupled with carefully planned site layout and an aesthetically pleasing design combine to create a building that will stand the test of time.
The building utilizes radiant in-floor heating and strategic placement of insulation in the floors, walls and ceiling. The roof trusses were designed and built to keep the attic space at optimum temperatures, preventing unwanted snow melt and ice damming in the cold months and excessive heat buildup when the weather gets warm. These design elements work together to keep the building comfortable and efficient throughout the 4 seasons.
The project broke ground in September 2013 and construction continued safely and efficiently through one of the toughest winters on record, opening to the congregation on schedule. Once again DeLoof was involved from the conceptual phase and throughout the design/build process. With accolades continuing to come in from the public and within our industry, it is clear that others also recognize the quality and appeal of the building.
